At SoftStitch, we are committed to ensuring your orders reach you safely and on time. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our shipping procedures, timelines, costs, and important information about order delivery. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Shipping Costs

1. Shipping costs are calculated on a per-product basis and will be clearly reflected on the checkout page before you confirm your order.

2. Domestic Orders (India): Shipping cost is ₹150 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) per product shipped within India.

2. Order Processing Time

3. After you place your order, SoftStitch requires 1-2 business days to process, verify, and prepare your order for shipment.

4. During this processing period, our team will confirm order details, verify payment, check product availability, and prepare the items for packaging and dispatch.

5. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately upon order placement. Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details.

6. Please note that processing time is separate from delivery time. The delivery timeline mentioned in Section 3 begins only after your order has been shipped, not from the order placement date.

7. Domestic Orders: After your order is shipped (following the 1-2 day processing period), products can be expected to be delivered within 5-7 days in major metro cities across India.

8. For other locations within India: Delivery typically takes 8-10 days from the time your order is shipped. Exact timelines may vary based on your specific location and local courier availability.

4. Delays in Delivery

• The delivery timelines mentioned above are indicative and approximate values only. Items can be shipped earlier or later depending on product availability and other factors beyond our control.

• Delivery time is subject to factors beyond SoftStitch’s control, including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions, strikes, natural calamities, national emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will keep you informed of the status of your order, including any delays.

• No refund, return, replacement, or exchange will be entertained due to delays caused by factors beyond our control.

• SoftStitch may choose to deliver your shipment in multiple parts. If you choose to cancel your order, we can only cancel the unshipped portion(s) of the order. Shipped portions cannot be cancelled.

5. Product Availability

• We make every effort to ensure that merchandise listed on our website is in stock and that prices are accurate. In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfill your order or provide a replacement due to product unavailability in our warehouse, we will notify you within a maximum of 5 working days from the date you placed your order.

• Upon notification of unavailability, you will be given the option to select an alternate product of similar value or request a cancellation and refund.

6. Order Cancellations

• SoftStitch can accept order cancellation or modification requests within 24 hours of order placement only.

• Once an order has been processed and is being prepared for shipment, cancellation requests cannot be accepted. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions and Exchange Policy for further details on order cancellations and exchanges.

7. Shipping Address Information

• Any changes to your shipping address must be communicated to us within 24 hours of placing your order. No address modifications are allowed after 24 hours from order placement or after the parcel has been shipped.

• If you wish to ship multiple products to different addresses, please place separate orders for each delivery address. This ensures accurate tracking and timely delivery to each location.

• Please ensure your shipping address is correct, including the full name, street address, city, state, pin code, and contact number. Some courier companies charge penalties when the address and zip code do not match. The customer will be responsible for bearing any such penalties or additional charges.

• In the event of a reshipment due to address-related issues or other reasons, customers are responsible for paying the re-shipping charges.

• Please ensure that someone is available to collect the package when delivery is attempted. If no one is present to receive the package, the courier may leave it at your doorstep or with a neighbor. SoftStitch will not be responsible for packages left unattended, and our courier agents may not be able to provide signature confirmation in such cases.

8. Lost in Transit

• If a shipment is lost in transit, SoftStitch will wait for 15 days before reprocessing the order.

• If the same product and design are not available at the time of reprocessing, you will be offered the option to either receive a refund or select an alternate product of similar value.

• SoftStitch will work with the courier partner to investigate and resolve the matter. However, liability for lost shipments is subject to the courier’s terms and conditions.

9. Partial Shipments

• If your order contains multiple products, we may ship items separately to optimize delivery times and cost. You will receive tracking information for each shipment. Shipping charges will be calculated and applied per product as stated in our Shipping Costs section.

10. Courier Partners & Services

• SoftStitch partners with reliable courier services including but not limited to BlueDart, Delhivery, Eshipz, DTDC, and Ekart to ensure safe and timely delivery across India.

• Courier services are subject to natural calamities, national emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances, which may cause delays. SoftStitch is not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by courier partners or factors beyond our control.

11. Tracking Your Order

• Upon shipment, you will receive a tracking number via email and SMS. You can use this number to track your order on the respective courier’s tracking portal.

• Visit our Order Tracking page at www.softstitch.com/track to access courier tracking portals directly.

12. Exchanges

• SoftStitch offers exchange only, not returns or refunds. For complete details on our exchange policy, including the 2-day exchange request window and product condition requirements, please refer to our Terms and Conditions and Exchange Policy.

• Exchange requests must be initiated within 2 days of delivery. Contact us at softstitchindia@gmail.com with your order number and reason for exchange.
